The Team: I am usually a small team sorta guy, but some big teams are amazing. Formula SAE Electric was one of these. I worked with them for a year, and now do occasional "consulting" with them. Great group with quite the talent. I especially want to call out Michael Delay (now my co-founder) and Thomas Willson (sometimes works as a contractor for Mantis Composites) here. They are smart, nice, and have kept me from doing some very dangerous things.
When I came in we were at the new chassis stage. Not exciting for a driver, but great fun for an enginerd.
We never made it to competition the year I was there, but the car did run very well! Just a quick plug for these guys, they always need money and support. If you are interested you should contact Calpoly Racing!
